VA awards industry innovators with health IT projects

Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric K. Shinseki has announced the first VA Innovation Initiative awards under the agencys Industry Innovation Competition. These four projects will use innovative new technologies in VA facilities to improve the quality of patient care for veterans and are the first of nearly 24 more awards to be made in the coming months, according to the agency.
