MobileMD brings HIE to Conn. hospital
The Charlotte Hungerford Hospital (CHH), a 109-bed, general acute care hospital in Torrington, Conn., has signed an agreement with health information exchange (HIE) company MobileMD to provide HIE and EHR systems to CHH and its healthcare community.
With the integration of MobileMD's 4DX HIE, the hospital intends to achieve meaningful use of EHRs and register for the Medicare and Medicaid EHR incentive programs, according to MobileMD, of Warminster, Pa.
