Wearables: Where reality meets hype

Developers of wearable technology have had their fair share of reality checks recently, reports Forbes.

Juniper Research found that wearables likely will be of limited use in the big picture beyond fitness, and Joseph Kvedar, MD, director of the Center for Connected Health, said at a recent conference that nobody has figured out how to make patients care about mobile health technologies, according to the article.
