Sanuwave appoints Sparks to board of directors

Alpharetta, Ga.-based Sanuwave Health has appointed Ron Sparks, a 34-year veteran of the medical device industry, to the company’s board of directors. Sparks, 56, is CEO and chairman of Navilyst Medical, which spun off Boston Scientific in 2008 to make fluid-management and vascular-access products. He previously served as president, CEO and executive director for Accellent.

Sanuwave Health is a regenerative medicine company focused on the development and commercialization of noninvasive, biological response activating devices for the repair and regeneration of tissue, musculoskeletal and vascular structures.
