RSNA: Dunlee to unveil CT tubes, customer app

Dunlee (Booth 4003) is unveiling a new line of tubes for advanced CT applications, as well as an expanded customer application for electronic tutorials on the removal, installation and calibration of CT tubes at the 97th Annual Meeting & Scientific Assembly of the RSNA, Nov. 27 to Dec. 2 in Chicago.

The Simplicity tube offers thermal capabilities and image quality that matches OEM tubes, according to Dunlee, a division of Philips Healthcare, noting that the products are compatible with 50-100 kw applications and available from 4.0-8.0 MHU inserts.

The customer application on display at RSNA features an expanded "tube service assistant"—an interactive electronic tutorial that offers instruction for installing new tubes, as well as direct access to Dunlee’s sales and support teams. The product is currently only available with Apple iOS devices.
