Meet M*Modal's new CIO, Musciano

Chuck Musciano has joined clinical documentation services provider M*Modal as CIO. He replaces Kevin Piltz, who resigned from the company and will work closely with Musciano for a transition period through June 30.

Musciano will provide strategic guidance to executive management and promote internal and external strategic IT policy and compliance relationships, as well as guide and facilitate all IT efforts, plans, projects, metrics and strategy throughout the company, the Franklin, Tenn.-based M*Modal stated.

He recently served as the CIO for Martin Marietta Materials, a publicly traded producer of construction aggregates. He was responsible for leveraging Martin Marietta Materials’ information infrastructure to provide competitive advantage across a broad range of business activities.
