InterSystems, eHealth Technologies align on images, informatics

InterSystems and eHealth Technologies have partnered to provide access to images such as x-rays, CT scans, MRIs and ultrasounds via InterSystems' HealthShare informatics platform, which is currently used by hospitals, integrated delivery networks and health information exchanges.

Using eHealth Technologies’ eHealth Solutions, images are delivered along with results, allowing providers access to view and collaborate using a diagnostic-quality, web-based application. In addition, the companies said that emergent image delivery will support emergency care providers by providing images prior to report generation.

The digital imaging capability will be available on InterSystems HealthShare in the fall, according to the companies.
