Accusoft acquires Adeptol

Imaging software developer and image viewer provider Accusoft Pegasus has acquired document viewing technology developer Adeptol and all its assets.

Headquartered in Santa Clara, Calif., Adeptol's product line includes document viewers with support for more than 300 document types, including Microsoft Office formats and PDFs, according to the Tampa, Fla.-based Accusoft, who added that the combination of Accusoft's and Adeptol's complementary product lines will create new growth opportunities for both companies.

No financial details were disclosed.
