WellDoc acquires, renames Oncology Care Home Health Specialists

Healthcare technology company WellDoc has acquired home-health consulting company Oncology Care Home Health Specialists. The acquisition will accelerate the development and quality of WellDoc's mHealth oncology solution, one of several disease suites in development, and will complement WellDoc's FDA cleared DiabetesManager, according to Baltimore-based WellDoc.

As a renamed subsidiary of WellDoc, Oncology Care Home Health will remain a comprehensive education and consulting company dedicated to helping home health providers implement specialized oncology programs, WellDoc stated.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
