VHA taps RadarFind RFID

VHA, a network of U.S. nonprofit healthcare organizations, has selected RadarFind to provide its radiofrequency identification (RFID) technology to its 1,400 member hospitals to track equipment, patients and staff.

RadarFind's real-time location system (RTLS) will help VHA members reduce capital expenditures and staff time spent on routine processes, according to RadarFind, a Morrisville, N.C.-based wholly owned subsidiary of TeleTracking Technologies.

The addition of TeleTracking's RadarFind system builds on a multi-year relationship between VHA, based in Irving, Texas, and TeleTracking that began in 2008, according to the company.
