T-System, Shareable Ink partner for integrated digital documentation

T-System, a hospital emergency department (ED) IT software company, has introduced DigitalShare to integrate digital technology with paper documentation for the ED.

Made possible through a strategic partnership with Shareable Ink, a Newton, Mass.-based health IT company, DigitalShare allows clinicians to document patient encounters on paper T-Sheets where data is captured and provides clinical and process feedback, the Dallas-based T-System stated.

Users can share, view or edit information through a web-based portal, where alerts for incomplete documentation prompt clinicians to address deficiencies, the company added.
