Surescripts, NextGen partner to improve interoperability

NextGen Healthcare will connect to the Surescripts Network for Clinical Interoperability to enable NextGen's users to send and receive clinical information across physician practices, hospitals, health centers and other healthcare entities across the U.S.

NextGen clinicians will be able to share clinical care information via an integrated messaging and collaboration platform powered by the Surescripts Network for Clinical Interoperability. Horsham, Pa.-based NextGen said it joins other EHR vendors connected to the Surescripts Network for Clinical Interoperability, enabling more than 300,000 care providers in acute and ambulatory settings.
