Surescripts, eClinical Works partner on prior auths
A new partnership will allow all users of eClinicalWorks software to have access to Surescripts' electronic prior authorization service.
Surescripts' CompletEPA solution will be integrated into the eClincialWorks EHR workflow. The partnership adds 340,000 providers who are using Surescripts' solutions.
Prescribers will be notified immediately if a prior authorization is required and dynamic forms will prepopulate with patient benefit data obtained through Surescripts' direct connections with the nation's largest pharmacy benefit managers, covering 75 percent of insured patients nationwide, according to a release.
"Our end-users understand the importance of eliminating slow and antiquated processes, not just for their own benefit, but ultimately for their patients," said Girish Navani, CEO and cofounder of eClinicalWorks.
