PIE Medical updates MR flow analysis software

Pie Medical Imaging has released the new version of its quantitative MR Flow analysis software.

According to Pie, the cardiovascular angiography analysis system (CAAS) MR flow software allows health professionals  to perform quantitative flow analysis on Phase-Contrast MR images and reduces the time spent on interpreting velocity-encoded MR.

The company, based in Maastrict, the Netherlands, said upgrades to the new version include:
  • Phase offset correction based on phantom images can be directly applied to the images under analysis for flow quantification;
  • Phase offset correction can now be applied based on gradient return on investments;
  • The possibility to add and remove datasets while working on an analysis;
  • The possibility to add and save user defined anatomical designations; and
  • Series names are clearly indicated in the image overlay.
