PACSGear launches cloud-based image exchange

PACSGear, will launch the PACSGear Image Exchange, a cloud-based technology designed to upload and share medical images and results between facilities at the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) annual meeting in Orlando, Fla., June 7-10.

As an add-on to the company’s MediaWriter product line, PACSGear Image Exchange provides the user an option to either burn DICOM studies to CD/DVD media or upload studies to a variety of cloud-based repositories.
