N.J. provider invests in molecular breast imaging

Capital Health, a hospital network based in New Jersey, has inked a contract with GE Healthcare to install GE's Discovery NM 750b at Capital Health Medical Center - Hopewell in Pennington, N.J.

The GE Discovery NM 750b scanner features dual detectors with CZT [cadmium zinc telluride] technology, according to the Waukesha, Wis.-based company. Imaging of the breast can be performed with light immobilization and without the need for full compression.
