NHS Trust facility taps InterSystems for clinical systems integration

Trafford Healthcare NHS Trust has selected InterSystems’ Ensemble platform as the foundation for its integration hub for clinical IT systems.

Based in Manchester, England, Trafford Healthcare NHS Trust runs hospital services and provides home community healthcare in Trafford, a borough in the west of Greater Manchester. Ensemble will link all hospital systems with the Trust’s composite patient record, according to the Cambridge, Mass.-based InterSystems.

The new hub will provide the NHS Trust with a configuration management environment to support its quality management process in live, back-up and test environments, according to the company, which said it will assist the Trust’s in-house team in developing interfaces for a variety of formats.

Trafford Healthcare NHS Trust plans to go live with Ensemble next month, InterSystems said.
