Miller steps in as Zonares new CEO

Jay D. Miller has joined Zonare Medical Systems as president and CEO, as the company’s former CEO, Donald J. Southard, has resigned.

Miller most recently served as president and CEO of Kappametrics, which developed products for the EEG and MRI markets. Prior to Kappametrics, Miller served as president and CEO of Vital Images, a developer of advanced visualization and analysis technologies in diagnostic imaging and therapy planning. Before that, he served at GE Medical Systems, most recently in their cardiology segment, and at Siemens Medical Solutions in their MR business, according to the Mountain View, Calif.-based Zonare.
