McKinney tapped as CEO of N.Y. HIE

Mark McKinney has been named Healthcare Information Xchange of New York’s (HIXNY) CEO, effective October 17.

McKinney, formerly director of integrated services with SXC Health Solutions, brings nearly 20 years of experience in product development for health IT organizations to his new role with HIXNY, according to the Albany-based HIXNY.

McKinney will be responsible for the leadership and operational management of the regional health information organization, establishing the strategic direction and overseeing its development and execution to advance the health information exchange.
