High-field, wide bore MR answers patient, doc preferences in Ala. center

Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Huntsville has upgraded to the GE Optima 450W MR system.

The GE system combines the benefits of high field and open, low field MRI in a single system, and eliminates the drawbacks of each, according to a statement issued by the Ala. Center. Optima 450W also offers a bore width of 70cm.
