GE Healthcare launches surface MRI coils

GE Healthcare has launched the GEM Suite of surface coils.

Waukesha, Wis.-based GE Healthcare said the GEM Suite is designed for use with the Optima MR450w 1.5T wide bore MRI system.

The new surface coil design is ergonomic, flexible and includes padding and comfort tile positioning to increase patient comfort, especially for claustrophobic or larger patients, according to GE.
