Fujifilm, Nuance partner for rad speech

Fujifilm Medical Systems USA and Nuance Communications have partnered to sell Nuance’s dictation systems to Fujifilm’s radiology customers.

With this new agreement in place, Fujifilm’s Synapse customers at hospitals, imaging centers and radiology practices can purchase Nuance's radiology speech recognition reporting platform PowerScribe 360 from Stamford, Conn.-based Fujifilm, according to that company.

As a result of the agreement to collaborate and share feedback for product development, radiologists can expect an integrated product offering when utilizing Burlington, Mass.-based Nuance's radiology reporting and communications platform with Fujifilm’s Synapse PACS and Synapse RIS, Fujifilm added.
