eMix debuts reporting tool

eMix has added EMRconnect, a tool for sending medical reports among healthcare providers, to its cloud-based platform.

Using EMRconnect, eMix report recipients can designate their preferred report delivery formats, including HL7, Clinical Document Architecture (CDA), Continuity of Care Record (CCR), text, PDF or rich text format. Data can then be imported into an EMR, stated the San Diego-based company.

Expansion of the eMix platform to the HL7 domain enables delivery of structured or encoded patient exam information into other healthcare IT systems, the company added.
