Emdat iPhone app assist transcription services

Emdat has introduced a new iPhone application to assist healthcare professionals in managing their patient notes.

Emdat Mobile, available free at the iTunes store, allows providers to obtain a listing of scheduled appointments, perform dictation and review and complete transcriptions from their Preliminary folder, according to the Fitchburg, Wis.-based developer of web-based medical transcription software.

Emdat Mobile also works with iTouch and iPad devices, although iTouch users must purchase a separate microphone to perform dictation.
