Drummond certifies 6 secure messaging products

Six products from Axway, Cleo Communications, GXS, IBM and Sterling Commerce, an IBM company, have completed AS3-1Q11 automated interoperability testing, and are now certified, according to Drummond Group test lab.

AS3 is the Internet Engineering Task Force messaging specification standard that allows vendor applications to communicate data, including electronic data interchange over the internet, using file transfer protocol, which provides digital security and receipt validation, the Austin, Texas-based test lab stated.

Drummond Group's testing automation tool, InSitu, was utilized during the AS3 interoperability testing, Drummond added.
