Covisint helps providers net PQRI incentive payments

Covisint, a Compuware company, has accelerated provider payments for physician offices and large health systems from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for the 2009 Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI).

Using Covisint DocSite PQRI, payments ranged from hundreds of dollars for small offices to hundreds of thousands for larger health systems, topping more than $450,000 for one organization, the Detroit-based Covisint stated.

Covisint DocSite was a high-volume clinical submission registry for PQRI in 2009 with 4,500 submissions. For 2010, Covisint DocSite, a CMS-certified registry for reporting PQRI data, is on track to assist 10,000 providers obtain incentive funds, the company stated.
