Consultations now live on demand

Telehealth service provider American Well unveiled Online Care For Providers, an offering in its Online Care Suite that enables physician practices to offer live, on-demand consultations to patients in their homes or workplaces via the web or phone.

The Online Care for Providers technology, part of American Well's Online Care Suite, automatically captures a complete record of each online care encounter, the Boston-based company stated. The technology can be imported into EMR packages, American Well said.
