CommonWell adds four more members

The vendor interoperability CommonWell Alliance has added new members to its roster to "incorporate new healthcare stakeholders outside of the vendor community," according to an announcement.

Two health IT companies: Caremerge and T-System; and two health information exchanges: Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services (MiHIN) and the Texas Health Services Authority are the new members.

"As demonstrated by these four new general members, CommonWell membership is open to all segments of the healthcare industry," said Nick Knowlton, vice president of business development for Brightree and CommonWell  Membership Committee chair.
