Come to Chicago for the Healthcare Leadership Forum

The Healthcare Leadership Forum presents Evidence at the Center of Care, the premier conference focused on implementing evidence-based medicine in every day practice.

John D. Halamka, MD, MS, CIO of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and chairman of the New England Healthcare Exchange Network will deliver a keynote address on Health IT and Evidence-Based Medicine: Anticipating Standards to Assure Effective Delivery of Evidence and Advice. In his keynote, Chesley B. "Sully" Sullenberger III, pilot of the famed 2009 "Miracle on the Hudson" flight, will discuss Patient Safety & Avoiding Crisis: What the Healthcare Industry Can Learn from Aviation. Other speakers include Howard C. Bauchner, MD, editor-in-chief of the Journal of the American Medical Association; and Carolyn M. Clancy, MD, director of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.

The meeting is designed to foster innovation in evidence-based medicine and promote sharing of evidence-based medicine best practices, providing a colloquium for physician and clinical leaders, C-suite executives, researchers and opinion leaders to share knowledge, information and best practices related to evidence-based medicine by providing interactive events that help facilitate and advance dynamic new ideas. Topics will include: integrating evidence at the point of care; evidence, EMRs and CPOE; and new directions in evidence-based healthcare.

Register now and join colleagues and thought leaders at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Chicago, Nov. 14-15. We hope you will join us.
