CJPS Healthcare buys remote monitoring technology developer

CJPS Healthcare Supplies and Equipment, a subsidiary of CJPS Enterprises, has purchased Delphi’s VitalPoint business, a remote patient monitoring product, for an undisclosed sum.

Due to the acquisition, the company’s new product is a PC-based vital signs monitor that can monitor or measure temperature, fluid status, pulse rate, ECG, pulse oximetry, glucose, weight and blood pressure, according to Christophe Sevrain, CJPS’ CEO.

This acquisition allows CJPS, which is based in Troy, Mich., to offer this electronic medical monitoring system to healthcare providers or family members on PCs, phones or PDAs.
