Carestream introduces cesium iodide DR detector

Healthcare IT provider Carestream Health has released its latest wireless DR detector, the cesium iodide Carestream DRX-1C detector.

The portable detector has been designed for general radiography exams including orthopedic, trauma, pediatric and other specialty environments, stated the Rochester, N.Y.-based company. Additionally, the company said that the detector can be used with Carestream DRX-Evolution suite, Carestream DRX-1 System and Carestream DRX-Mobile Retrofit kit.
