Barco unveils surgical display
Barco has launched its MDSC-2226, a 26-inch surgical display providing compatibility with its networked digital operating room.
The display includes an IP-to-AV decoder and cable management system. The MDSC-2226 offers integrated functionality for use with Barco’s Nexxis for OR. For traditional installations, two additional display models provide connectivity, including DVI, DisplayPort, 3G-HDSDI, HDMI and analog sources.
The MDSC-2226 offers 10-bit video processing and backlight stabilization, as well as multi-modality imaging in integrated operating rooms.
Additional features include ITU-R.709 HD and DICOM calibration technologies, a native HD resolution LCD panel and a smooth surface, splash-proof housing and protective screen cover to facilitate cleaning and disinfection. The fanless design prevents the spread of contaminants.
The MDSC-2226 surgical display will be commercially available as of October.
