Baptist Health enlists Compuware to monitor EHR performance

Baptist Health System (BHS), a not-for-profit healthcare system in Alabama, has selected Compuware’s EHR service delivery technology to monitor the performance and availability of its EHR systems to ensure service-level agreements are being met.

Detroit-based Compuware said its technology will enable BHS to identify and resolve clinical application performance issues before they can impact patient care.

BHS, headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., owns and manages four hospitals in Alabama totaling 1,576 licensed beds and 4,300 employees. It recently rolled out an ambulatory EHR system to physicians and clinics. Compuware’s EHR service delivery technology captures performance data across infrastructure tiers, ensuring EHR performance, the company said.
