athenahealth releases new physician dashboard
athenahealth, a Watertown, Mass.-based developer of cloud-based practice management, EHR and care coordination services to medical groups, launched an online dashboard to provide insight into a physician’s performance in achieving the meaningful use criteria.
The dashboard shows which measures are presenting the greatest challenge to providers and their practices as they aim to complete the attestation process and collect incentive payments, according to the company.
One of the most challenging measures for providers, as noted on the dashboard, is clinical summaries, athenahealth said. Under this measure, providers must furnish clinical summaries to patients for at least 50 percent of all patient office visits within three business days following a visit.
