Ascension, Healthagen offer iTriage

Ascension Urgent Care has partnered with Healthagen to provide medical and facility information on iTriage - a smartphone application for iPhone, iPod Touch, Android and Palm users.

The iTriage app was built by emergency room physicians and is the flagship application of Lakewood, Colo.-based Healthagen. It allows users to:

•   Search medical symptoms;
•   Learn about possible causes; and
•   Find appropriate locations for treatment.

iTriage aggregates healthcare information and is designed to close the information gap between doctors and patients, according to Ascension, of Prairieville, La.
