89 ACOs to join MSSP

 

Eighty-nine accountable care organizations will join the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' Medicare Shared Savings Program starting in 2015, reports Modern Healthcare

The additions will boost the total number of organizations in the MSSP program to 405, and it means that an estimated 7.2 million Medicare enrolless will receive treatment from physicians in ACOs.
