Clinical alarm survey in the works

The Plymouth Meeting, Pa.-based Healthcare Technology Foundation (HTF) is surveying healthcare workers who have knowledge of clinical alarm problems.

This latest canvassing follows up on a survey HTF conducted in 2005 and 2006 that drew more than 1,300 responses and resulted in numerous publications and recommendations, many of which are posted at TheHTF.org.

HTF will publish results of the new survey and present them at the Oct. 4-5 AAMI Medical Device Alarms Summit in Herndon, Va.

To participate in the new HTF survey on clinical alarm problems, click here, and complete the form before Sept. 7.
