HIMSS announces award, scholarship recipients

The Healthcare Information Management and Systems Society (HIMSS) has named its 2012 award and scholarship recipients. The HIMSS Foundation and five HIMSS chapters provided 10 scholarships to students enrolled in health IT and management systems degree programs.  

“The HIMSS award recipients are individuals and organizations that have contributed to HIMSS mission of leading healthcare transformation through the effective use of health information technology. Congratulations to all of the award and scholarship recipients for their achievement and for the use of their skills to expand health IT,” said JoAnn Klinedinst, vice president, professional development, in a release.
