DOJ recovers $2.3B in false claims

The Department of Justice has recovered $2.3 billion from alleged healthcare fraud schemes during fiscal year 2014, reports Modern Healthcare. 

It's the fifth consecutive year that the Justice Department has recovered more than $2 billion from cases alleging fraud against Medicare, Medicaid and Tricare. The department's Health Care Fraud Prevention and Enforcement Action Team, formed in 2009, was instrumental to this recovery, according to the article.
