CMS urgently seeking volunteers for ICD-10 end-to-end testing

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) urgently seeks volunteers for ICD-10 end-to-end testing with Medicare in July 2014, according to a notice.

Agency contractors will test with volunteer organizations between July 21 and 25. The testing will include the submission of test claims to CMS with ICD-10 codes and the provider’s receipt of a remittance advance that explains the adjudication of the claims.

CMS requires potential testers to complete the volunteer form on the Medicare Administrative Contractors web site by March 24. Contractors will notify volunteers whether they have been selected to participate by April 14.
