106 ACOs join Medicare Shared Savings Program

The Department of Health and Human Services announced that an additional 106 accountable care organizations (ACO) are participating in the Medicare Shared Savings Program, bringing the total to more than 250.

As many as 4 million Medicare beneficiaries now have access to an ACO participating in Medicare Shared Savings Program, according to a Jan. 10 statement from the government agency.
