ONC’s DeSalvo steps down

 

Karen DeSalvo, MD, MPH, MsC has abruptly stepped down from her position as national coordinator for health IT to take on a new role within the Department of Health and Human Services focusing on the Ebola crisis, reports Clinical Innovation + Technology.

ONC Chief Operating Officer Lisa A. Lewis will serve as the acting national coordinator.
