Most healthcare executives perform data analytics
Nearly three-quarters of healthcare executives perform data analytics, Health Data Management reports.
The survey, conducted by Health Data Management and the American Health Information Management Association, included 557 healthcare executives. Of the respondents, 72 percent said they performed data analytics and nearly 90 percent said analytics helped their organizations make better decisions.
Of the executives who performed data analytics, 64 percent said they performed descriptive analytics, 35 percent performed descriptive and predictive analytics and 1 percent performed predictive analytics.
