What Carolinas HealthCare paid top executives

The top 10 executives at Charlotte-based Carolinas HealthCare System were paid more than $22.2 million in 2014, an increase of 5.5 percent over the previous year, according to Charlotte Business Journal

The chief executive, Michael Tarwater, earned nearly $5.3 million in 2014, up from nearly $4.9 million the previous year.
