UnitedHealth Group CEO defends possibility of exiting health insurance exchanges

UnitedHealth Group CEO Stephen Hemsley said the health insurer might not offer plans on exchanges created as part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Reuters reports. UnitedHealth announced in November that it had suffered significant losses on the exchanges.
