Tenet Healthcare and United Surgical Partners International agreed to form a joint venture, The Wall Street Journal reports.
The deal creates the largest ambulatory-surgical provider in the U.S. The combined company will own 244 ambulatory surgery centers, 16 short-stay surgical hospitals and 20 imaging centers in 29 states.
