Rehabilitation hospitals seek to avoid payment cuts

A trade group representing rehabilitation hospitals is hoping to avoid upcoming payment cuts, The Hill reports.

Physicians will see their Medicare payments reduced on March 31 unless Congress intervenes. Representatives from the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association were scheduled to meet with members of the Senate on Tuesday to discuss ways to prevent the cuts.
