KLAS issues 2010 top performing health IT software, services

Epic is the top-ranked overall software vendor in the 2010 Top 20 Best in KLAS Awards: Software & Professional Services report. Picis and Philips took second and third spots, respectively.

The report includes the annual rankings of the best performing healthcare IT vendors based on more than 17,000 interviews the Orem, Utah, market researcher conducts yearly with healthcare providers.

KLAS rankings measure a vendor’s performance in areas of product quality, implementation and service and support. Two new sections were included in the 2010 report: “Overall Software Suite Rankings” and “Disclosure Levels.”

The report highlights the highest performing vendors across all market segments in which they have rated products or services. Epic earned a performance score of 87.0 out of 100. The top-rated overall services firm is Hayes Management (90.5), followed by Vitalize Consulting Solutions and CTG, according to KLAS.
