Florida network moves toward ACO model with MDI software

Community Health Network (CHN) of Central Florida, an integrated delivery network (IDN) in partnership with Parrish Medical Center (PMC), has implemented MDI’s Viewpoint Analytics healthcare technology in the hopes of moving toward creating an accountable care organization (ACO).

Parrish Medical Center and CHN will use MDI’s healthcare data warehousing and healthcare analytics solutions to strengthen their existing integrated delivery system.

CHN, which includes PMC and area doctors, contracts with employers and health plans to provide healthcare services for residents along Florida’s Space Coast. Administrators within the network use an extensive EMR system to manage patient flow across clinical specialties and locations.

Applying MDI’s analytics capabilities to the network’s EMR will enable care coordination among providers and foster preventive measures, MDI stated. The IDN will use Viewpoint’s data management and analytics to assist in population health and risk management.
