Dragon Medical Mobile now on iTunes App Store

Nuance Communications has made available Dragon Medical Mobile Recorder on the iTunes App Store.

Dragon Medical Mobile Recorder enables mobile point-of-care dictation that is connected to speech-enabled transcription platforms, eScription and Dictaphone Enterprise Speech System, as well as the Nuance Transcription Services offering, according to the Burlington, Mass.-based company.

Dragon Medical Mobile Recorder includes features designed to help the dictation process for clinicians, including:
  • Security features, including encryption as outlined in the HIPAA guidelines, to protect all patient information; and
  • Administrative tools for centrally managing user accounts through EMon, the eScription administrative console; or Enterprise Explorer, the Dictaphone Enterprise Speech System administrative console.
